National Military Service

Applications for registration, postponement, and exemption from national service can be submitted to the consular authority, which transfers them to the competent authorities inside the country. By creating the following files:

The files are transferred to the concerned authorities for consideration, and those concerned are notified when any responses are received.

Registration:

This year, 2024, the class of 2027 is counted, and includes Algerian citizens residing abroad born during the year 2007.

Those concerned should approach the consular authority before December 01, 2027, with the following file attached:

Fill out the registration form
A birth certificate
Two solar photos
A copy of the consular registration card of the legal guardian

Postponement:

A Written request.
A copy of the passport.
A copy of the residence.
A copy of the consular card.
Justification for the deferment request (usually a university degree).
Copies of previous postponement certificates, if any

exemption:

A Written request.
A copy of the passport.
A copy of the residence card.
A copy of the consular card.
A justification for the exemption request (work certificate, medical report, or the file of the only child who takes care of the family, according to the reason for the exemption).
Copies of previous postponement certificates, if any.
