The Ambassador's Meeting with the Vice President of the Islamic Development Bank Group

Ambassador Cherif Oualid, the Permanent Representative of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), met with Mr. Rami Ahmed, Vice President of the Islamic Development Bank Group, at the Bank’s headquarters in Jeddah on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

The meeting focused on exploring ways and prospects for enhancing cooperation between Algeria and the Islamic financial institution, as well as its contribution to supporting the development projects launched by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The discussions also included follow-up on the positive outcomes of the Group's Annual Meetings held in Algeria last May.

Ambassador also met with the President of the Bank, Mr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser, along with several of his assistants.
