The commemoration of CHAHID National Day on February 18

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Ambassador Mr. Cherif Oualid presided over the commemoration of CHAHID National Day, held at the embassy, in the presence of embassy members and Algerian citizens residing in Saudi Arabia. The ceremony included the raising of the national flag accompanied by the national anthem, the recitation of Al-Fatiha, and a moment of silence in tribute to the souls of the martyrs. The ambassador delivered a speech in which he recalled the sacrifices made by our heroic ancestors to liberate Algeria and the lessons drawn from their commitment to uphold the message of the martyrs.
