Passport application files are deposited by the concerned party from Sunday to Thursday (except for official holidays).

Attendance of children under the age of 12 is not mandatory

Conditions for obtaining a passport or renewing a passport not issued by the embassy:

• Fill out a passport application form
• Show the consular registration card
• A copy of the residence card
• A valid residence card extracted from Absher
• 04 recent colored biometric photos with a white background, size 35 * 45 mm, avoiding wearing white
• Original S12 secured birth certificate
• blood group card
• Pay the due fees of 282 Saudi riyals for a regular passport with 28 pages or 423 Saudi riyals for a passport with 48 pages

Renewal of the passport issued by the embassy:

• Fill out a passport application form
• Show the consular registration card
• Return the expired passport or fill out a pledge form to return the passport after transferring the information
• A copy of the residence card
• A valid residence card extracted from Absher
• Two (02) recent colored photographs with a white background, size 35 * 45 mm, avoiding wearing white
• Original S12 secured birth certificate
• Pay the due fees of 282 Saudi riyals for a regular passport with 28 pages or 564 Saudi riyals

Notes

• The passport is valid for 10 years for adults and 05 years for minors (less than 19 years old).
• To receive the new passport, you must bring the receipt and the old passport, even if it has not expired.
• The presence of the passport holder over the age of 12 years at the time of receipt is necessary and no other person can act on his behalf.

The new passport must be received by its holder as soon as possible.
In case of passing 06 months  without receiving the passport, the passport will be canceled and the concerned person will have to pay a fine upon renewal.

National Identity Card:

The Algerian Ministry of the Interior and Local Communities has put at the disposal of members of the national community, who possess a biometric passport, an electronic portal that enables them to request an electronic biometric national identification card using the National Identification Number (NIN), which is found on the passport directly below the photograph, and the passport number.

Note:

In case of the loss of the national identity card , the concerned person must submit a loss document extracted from the police departments in the area of residence, a declaration of loss extracted from the consular departments, and pay the fees.
