Transferring the body of a deceased Algerian citizen abroad
In the case of the death of an Algerian citizen abroad, his relatives are required to submit a file to the consular services in order to obtain a permit to transport the body.
The file for a dead body transfer permit consists of the following documents:
- A death certificate issued by the Civil Status Department
- Burial permit
- Embalming certificate
- Transfer authorization
- Sickness absence certificate
